This year, Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, is celebrating its 125th or Quasquicentennial Anniversary. We are proud to be one of five churches in Everett hitting this milestone this year, which happens to be one year before the City of Everett, WA! During the year, we are presenting a series of events to talk about the history of the church. As well, we are having some fun events to just simply celebrate this milestone.
Here’s a quick glance at our year (what we’ve done and what we’ll be doing):
January 29 at 10am – 1892 to 1917
February 26 at 10am – 1918 to 1924
March 26 at 10am – 1925 to 1952
April 23 at 10am / 11am – One Service and The BIG Party / Smorgasbord

May 21 at 6pm – Reception / 6:15pm Centennial Video (1892-1992) / 7pm – Norwegian Male Chorus Concert
July 22 at 5:35pm (picnic) / 7:05pm (game) – All City Church Night Out at the Everett AquaSox plus fireworks!
September 17 – 1952 to 2017 at 10:00 A.M.
October 8, 2017 at 3:00 P.M.
“Celebrating God’s Love for 125 Years” Concert at First Presbyterian Church, 2936 Rockefeller, Everett. It was a 75 minute concert featuring a combined choir of more than 60 voices from local churches. Reception to follow. Free will offering was taken and nearly $2000 was raised for Catholic Community Services and Housing Hope.
