High School Youth Ministry is designed for students 9th-12th grade.
We meet every Sunday(Sept – May) at 10:00 am-10:55 am to help out with assisting with Sunday School and Nursery and building sack lunches for the homeless of Everett.
Youth Group every Sunday: 11am -12:30pm
The MS & HS Youth group meets downstairs in the Fireside room 11am-12:30pm, ending every Sunday with a meal together. We are excited for this time with you! This time allows for more time together; time for faith, fun and food together! So what should you do during the 10am Learning Hour…Good question! All youth are still a part of the Learning hour. Maybe you’re in Confirmation, or maybe you are helping out the Sunday School classroom teachers, or helping out in the Nursery or even Families Feeding Families sandwich making. There is a place to learn and to serve and to mentor those younger than you! This time of gathering at 11am, allows those in the 10am Confirmation class to be a part of the youth group. It allows all the youth to worship together on occasional Sundays at the 11am service. It allows youth to serve and mentor the younger students in Sunday School. It allows all the youth to be a community around a meal every Sunday too! The youth leaders, Charles Smith and Matt Walker are excited for this adventure with you! Plan to come at 10am – help with Sunday school (sign up list attached!), and then rejoice, play, worship and eat together during youth group 11am-12:30pm.
*Parents= this gives you an opportunity to go do something on your own during this time, just remember to come back and pick them up at 12:30pm. Exciting times and days ahead!!
