HIGHLIGHTS
Class designed for kids who turn three by August 31st of school year
2 or 3 day a week developmentally appropriate program aimed at school readiness and social and spiritual development
Children in 3 day classes will gather together 2 times a month in the Worship Center for about 15 minutes of singing, prayer and giving thanks to God.

TYPICAL 3 year old schedule
09:00 – 9:15: Arrival
Children arrive. Children take coat and backpack off and place in baskets or coat hook. Children get in line to wash hands with soap and water.
9:15-9:35: Circle Time
Teacher leads whole class in:
Hello song and prayer
Calendar activities (counting, days of week, weather)
Movement song / fingerplay/ story / theme-related activity
The teacher explains the learning center choices and each child shares their plan for how/where they would like to start center time.
9:35-10:00: Learning Center Time
Children choose from among these centers:
- Blocks
- Sensory/”touching” table
- Art center
- Teacher table
- Activity table
- Writing center
- Book corner
- Listening center
10:00-10:15: Clean Up Time
Children assist teachers in putting materials away.
10:15-10:45: Gross Motor Time
Children play outdoors in one of our two parks, weather permitting. Both of our outdoor areas, the Slide Park and Nature Park are fenced-in. If outdoor play is not possible, children will use the indoor play equipment or participate in other movement activities.
10:45-11:10: Snack Time
Children and teachers share a healthy snack and conversation. All help to clean up.
11:10-11:25: Story Time
Teacher reads a book to whole class.
11:25-11:30: Goodbye Meeting
Goodbye prayer and goodbye song
11:30: Dismissal
Children are dismissed outside.
