At Our Savior's all are welcome at the Lord’s Table. We trust that Christ is the host of this meal and that the invitation is extended to all who seek God's grace. Communion is a sign of God’s inclusive love and a foretaste of the feast to come in God’s kingdom. Striving to be inclusive we offer bread and gluten free wafers, red wine and white grape juice.

In the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), Holy Communion is a sacrament—a means through which God’s grace is given. We believe that in the bread and wine, Jesus Christ is truly present—in, with, and under the forms of bread and wine—offering forgiveness, life, and salvation. Communion is both a gift and a shared meal that unites us with Christ and with one another.

After worship, most people gather around the cafe' for coffee, baked goods, and fellowship. During the school year, Our Savior's offers an adult education class with a variety of speakers and topics, both biblical and social justice oriented. Opportunities for children are also available. Details about offerings for children are in the first question. above.
