Join the Family Friendship Meal Club!
Family Friendship Meal Club is a fun way to share fellowship with other church families who have children of a similar age. We, as parents, can show our children that getting together with others from church is a fun way to spend our time and get to know our church community.

Interested families register and three families are grouped together for a rotation. Each group will have the school year to schedule three meals – one at each home – at a convenient time and can prepare whatever type of meal the host family wants to have.

One of the families will be designated to host the first meal and call or email the others to set up a mutually convenient day and time to host. One of the other families will provide the salad or side and the other family will provide the dessert or another dish. The host family provides the rest of the meal and beverages and invites a 4th family as “guests” for the evening. The guests only bring themselves.

At the end of the first meal, the families pick two other dates for the other families to host and determine who brings the salad/side and dessert/other dish. Each school year, the Family Friendship Meal Club families are reshuffled, assigned to a new group and the cycle starts over! We will try to minimize the repetitions so you can get to know other families.

Adult Leaders’ Training:

Safe Haven: TBD

We require all adults who participate in ministry with minors to complete the “Safe Haven” training and background check. This course helps volunteer leaders understand our policies and helps us all keep Our Savior’s a safe place for kids and their families. All are invited to go through the Safe Haven training and background check. Question: “What if I don’t volunteer with kids, should I come to this training?” – YES! It takes a village to provide a safe environment for kids and families; being educated in how to do that is important for EveryOne. Please plan to come to the next in-person training. You can also view the training video online here.
