Confirmation is a time for youth and their families to share in faith development, Scripture and Catechism. Designed for 7th and 8th grade students and their parents, confirmation helps prepare students for their Affirmation of Baptism by teaching them to dig deeper in the Bible, learn about sacraments, the Lord’s Prayer, the Apostle’s Creed, and how they relate to their own faith journeys.
Confirmation Orientation for Parents and Students:
To be announced… stay tuned!
Orientation is for all returning and incoming confirmands and their families.
New this year — Retreats!
In an effort to work with families and busyness of every day life, we are shifting to a retreat-only model for confirmation for the fall. There will be four quarterly retreats, each over a weekend in accordance with students’ availability. Retreats will include team-building opportunities, service projects, as well as lessons on the theme of the retreat.
2019 – 2020 Retreat Schedule
- Fall: New Testament
- Winter: Lord’s Prayer
- Lent: Prayer and Spiritual Practices
- Spring: Sacraments
