Middle School Youth Group
Meets Sundays after worship, 10:30-12noon
Part One: Fellowship and Fun
Getting together, building friendships, and having a safe space to navigate these early teen years. Every week, we will have some time reserved for fellowship and community before diving into our Bible study topic of the week, and every six weeks or so will have meetings with no lesson, fully devoted to fellowship and fun. Some activities we may see on these days are movies, escape room adventures, holiday parties, games, and more!
Part Two: Confirmation
Confirmation is a significant investment of time and energy for students, parents, church staff and pastors. There must be something important here for us to share together!
Confirmation honors the promises made by parents and sponsors on the occasion of baptism and nurtures faith and deepens understanding of the way Lutherans live out the Christian faith.
This year’s focus is on the New Testament. Middle schoolers will learn about Jesus’ birth and early life, Jesus’ ministry, parables, Holy Week and Easter, and Pentecost and the early church.
Who will be there? All students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades are welcome to join us. Also, friends are always invited and welcome to attend.
