Confirmation is a time for youth and their families to share in faith development, Scripture and Catechism. Designed for 7th and 8th grade students and their parents, confirmation helps prepare students for their Affirmation of Baptism by teaching them to dig deeper in the Bible, learn about sacraments, the Lord’s Prayer, the Apostle’s Creed, and how they relate to their own faith journeys.
We will be meeting in four-week units on Wednesday evenings for the remainder of the school year. Join us for soup suppers (during lent) or the potlucks at 6:00pm, then we will begin our lesson in the Fireside Room at 6:30pm for an hour. During Lent, parents are welcome to attend the Lenten services in the commons, also centering around the Lord’s Prayer.
Lent Unit Schedule: The Lord’s Prayer
- March 4: The Greatest Prayer
- March 11: God’s Kingdom & Will
- March 18: God Gives & Forgives
- March 25: Temptation, Trial, & Deliverance
